Frying Ravioli

Ravioli - Frying Hints
 
                    DOs
  • Use straight from the freezer
  • Use light, neutral oil e.g. (Blended vegetable oil, Canola or Grape seed)
  • Gently drop Ravioli into HOT oil (170 - 180 C) for 1 - 2 minutes
  • Gently move the Ravioli to ensure even colouring
  • Lift out with kitchen spider onto absorbent paper 

·       Serve immediately (Filling will be hot !!!!) 
                       
                          DON’Ts
  • Place too many Ravioli in the oil at once - this will lower oil temperature
  • Leave in oil too long - may cause Ravioli to split
